What the record showed
The Apprentice averaged 20.7 million viewers in its first season (2003–04); by season 10 (2010–11) it averaged 4.7 million and ranked 113th. The two-hour Celebrity Apprentice finale on February 16, 2015 drew a 1.6 rating/4 share among adults 18–49. NBC cut ties with Trump in June 2015 after his comments about Mexican immigrants, and on August 13, 2015 said the show would return with a new host.
