What happened
Trump was reacting to a Time magazine cover image of Harris, which he compared to Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor. The rally was billed as an economic speech, and Republican allies had urged him to focus on policy rather than personal attacks, AP reported. A Harris campaign spokesperson said Trump 'resorts to lies, name-calling, and confused rants.'
