What happened
On March 29, 2016, Jupiter, Florida police charged campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with simple battery over grabbing Fields' arm at a March 8 event. Trump tweeted that 'Look at tapes-nothing there!' and that she 'changed her tune' once she learned there was video. At a CNN town hall that night he said she 'is not a baby.' On Hannity on April 4 he asked whether she had quit or been fired. On April 14 the Palm Beach County state attorney declined to prosecute. He said the evidence would not support a conviction, though it was legally sufficient for the arrest.
