What happened
The remarks came during the House impeachment inquiry led by Pelosi. Two days earlier, at a Nov. 1, 2019 rally in Tupelo, Mississippi, he described 'the great city, once, of San Francisco' as 'thousands and thousands of tents and drugs and needles.' On Oct. 2 he had called her district 'tent city.'
