Said admitting Syrian refugees could be 'the all time great' modern-day 'Trojan Horse'
“She wants a 550% increase in Syrian refugees coming into our country. Again, we don't know who they are. Where do they come from? This could be the all time great version modern day of the Trojan Horse, folks. Remember that, the Trojan Horse.”

What happened
Trump first used the 'Trojan Horse' line about refugees in a speech in Manchester, New Hampshire, on June 13, 2016, the day after the Orlando nightclub shooting. In that speech he said refugees' children were being 'radicalized.' He repeated it in Ashburn, Virginia (August 8) and Phoenix (August 31), where he called it 'the all time great Trojan Horse.' The January 2017 executive order suspended the U.S. refugee program for 120 days and barred Syrian refugees indefinitely.
