Called Zelensky "A Dictator without Elections" a week after his call with Putin

What happened
Trump posted the statement on February 19, 2025, and repeated it in a speech in Miami that evening. Zelensky was elected in 2019 with 73% of the vote, and Ukraine delayed elections scheduled for early 2024 because of the war, CBS News reported. Earlier that day Zelensky had said Trump was "living in this disinformation space" created by Russia. In the same post Trump wrote that the United States was "successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia." The BBC reported that Russia's ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andrei Kelin, praised the administration's approach, saying, "They have listened and they hear what we're saying." Asked five days later whether he would use the same word for Putin, Trump said, "I don't use those words lightly."
