What happened
He made the same claim in Des Moines on January 30, 2020 ("Nobody else would have gotten it done, that I can tell you"). In August 2022 PolitiFact rated Half True a claim that "Nobody's enforcing" the hospital price transparency law. On February 25, 2025, he signed a new executive order on price transparency; the White House fact sheet said "the prior Administration failed to prioritize further implementation and enforcement of these requirements" and that the Biden administration "was sued in 2023 for not enforcing the prescription drug transparency requirements."
