Six weeks later, Pew Research Center's validated-voter study of the 2020 election found Black voters backed Biden 92 percent to 8 percent for Trump. Trump repeated a version of the claim on April 17, 2026, telling a Turning Point USA audience in Phoenix, 'I did great with the Black vote, the African American vote, and they understand this better than anybody.'
