In his words

Tweeted that Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand had come 'begging' for donations and 'would do anything for them'

“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office "begging" for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”

What happened

The tweet came a day after Gillibrand called on Trump to resign over sexual misconduct allegations. Gillibrand called it 'a sexist smear attempting to silence my voice.' USA Today's editorial board wrote that the tweet was 'clearly implying that a United States senator would trade sexual favors for campaign cash,' CNBC reported. Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said 'there's no way' the tweet was sexist.
