Hours after the August 6, 2015 debate, Trump's account retweeted a user who wrote: 'Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo @MegynKelly will consider other programs!' That night he also tweeted that Kelly 'really bombed.' Over the next months he called her 'lightweight' (September 23, 2015) and 'highly overrated.' On January 27, 2016, the day after he said he would skip the Fox News debate she was co-moderating, he posted the 'I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo' tweet quoted above.
