What happened
The day after Kelly asked him at the first Republican debate about his insults toward women, Trump told CNN she had asked 'all sorts of ridiculous questions.' RedState editor Erick Erickson withdrew his invitation to speak at the RedState Gathering in Atlanta, citing a lack of decency, and invited Kelly to fill the slot. On August 8 Trump tweeted that he had meant 'NOSE.' He returned to the remark at a Colorado Springs rally on July 29, 2016, again saying 'I was talking about her nose.'
