Trump made the remark in a 2004 Dateline segment about Carolyn Kepcher, an Apprentice co-star and Trump Organization executive, who said she waited until she was six months pregnant to tell him. He also called pregnancy 'a wonderful thing for the woman.' NBC News noted in 2016 that the reporter may have used the word 'inconvenience' first, in a question viewers don't hear. When Hillary Clinton cited the quote in June 2016, PolitiFact rated her claim True.
