What happened
The tweets came after Senate Democrats blocked a disaster aid bill they said shortchanged Puerto Rico. In the same thread he called San Juan's mayor 'crazed and incompetent' and wrote '91 Billion Dollars to Puerto Rico and now the Dems want to give them more.' He repeated the theme on July 22, 2019 ('the leadership is corrupt and incompetent') and on September 18, 2020 ('Puerto Rico has been very corrupt in terms of its politicians').
