The thread said the 'Progressive' Democratic congresswomen 'originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe.' Three of the four were born in the United States; Ilhan Omar came to the U.S. as a refugee from Somalia and is a naturalized citizen. On July 16, 2019, the House voted 240-187 for a resolution condemning his 'racist comments.' Only four Republicans voted for it. Trump did not back down, tweeting that critics of the country 'can leave.'
