What happened
No replacement plan providing universal coverage was ever produced. The Congressional Budget Office estimated the House-passed AHCA would increase the number of uninsured by 23 million by 2026. FactCheck.org reported the number of uninsured Americans rose by about 3 million during Trump's term, to roughly 28 million.
