Only I can fix it

Only he could get Kim Jong Un 'where you have to be'

“Mr. Chairman, Joe Biden may be Sleepy and Very Slow, but he is not a "rabid dog." He is actually somewhat better than that, but I am the only one who can get you where you have to be. You should act quickly, get the deal done. See you soon!”

What happened

He had made similar claims after the June 2018 Singapore summit (Nov. 7, 2018: "nobody else could have done what I've done") and on Feb. 15, 2019 ("Nobody else would have done that. The Obama administration couldn't have done it"). The February 2019 Hanoi summit produced little progress on denuclearization, and no deal was reached before he left office. North Korea carried out no denuclearization, resumed missile testing in 2019 and expanded its arsenal, according to the Arms Control Association's chronology.
