His @realDonaldTrump account had more than 88.9 million followers when Twitter permanently suspended it in January 2021 after the January 6 Capitol attack; Twitter also suspended the @TeamTrump campaign account. Facebook blocked him from posting on January 6, 2021, extended the suspension to two years in June 2021, and reinstated him on February 7, 2023.
