What happened
The remark came while Trump was defending his tariffs. He had earlier told Fox News on June 29, 2025 that 'Canada is very nasty to deal with,' citing its dairy tariffs, and in an October 2025 meeting called Prime Minister Mark Carney a 'nice man, but he can be nasty.'
