What happened
Mostly late or never. The federal hiring freeze and TPP withdrawal were signed on day four, January 23, 2017, not day one. The constitutional amendment imposing congressional term limits was never proposed. China was not labelled a currency manipulator on day one; the administration reversed that pledge in April 2017, briefly applied the label in August 2019 and removed it in January 2020. Sanctuary-city defunding was ordered but repeatedly blocked in court.
